Dhuna, a screenwriter suffering from schizophrenia starts experiencing visual hallucinations about the same characters that he creates for his clients. Inspite of his progressively weakening mental state, he is hounded to deliver fresh projects on time by the latter which leads to multiple breakdowns and aggravation of his response. Samdheesh, an appointed doctor goes out of his way to help him but is dragged down into the gloomy mire by the more powerful clients owing to his past. All of this culminates in a dark psychological cum horror thriller with the repeating themes of anxiety, psychosis and powerlessness in the face of trauma, which seeks to show solidarity with victims of unrecognised psychological issues, people unable to access services for mental health and patients who cannot voice out their complaints due to fear of social ridicule.
