Jesu (Dharmendra) and Peter (Vinod Mehra) are childhood friends who live in an Indian coastal village. Fishing is the primary source of livelihood for this small community, but a local gangster named Alphonso (Amjad Khan) torments the villagers by seizing a share from their daily catch. One day, a drunkard finds a rare, precious black pearl on the coast and brings it to Alphonso, who kills him and decides to smuggle the rest of the pearls. Meanwhile, Peter’s fiancée gets eaten by a man-eating shark wandering by the coast. As shock and terror spreads in the community, Jesu decides to tackle the deadly shark and the equally problematic Alphonso on his own.
