Upkar is a 1967 Hindi Drama starring Asha Parekh, Manoj Kumar, Prem Chopra & others. A patriotic man from a village Bharat, sacrifices a lot to get his brother educated. The brother returns from abroad a selfish man demanding his share in property. The India-Pakistan war breaks out & Bharat heads to join the army. His brother, in the meanwhile, sells drugs & indulges in black marketing. When Bharat returns from the war, his brother is a changed man. He asks for Bharat's forgiveness.
