Shehzada is a 1972 drama starring Rajesh Khanna, Raakhee and others. A poor freedom fighter wants his daughter, Janki, to marry DIG's son, Ratan. When Ratan insists his parents marry him to Janki. After DIG's death his wife throws a pregnant Janki out while Ratan does nothing. Janki's son Rajesh grows up and goes to meet his Dad. He wants his grandmother to apologise to his mother, but she refuses. Rajesh marries Chanda. But Chanda leaves Janki's house and moves in with Rajesh's grandmother.
