Mohan Dekhane is married to Nandini and her irritating mother Lalitadevi lives with them in their house. Mohan gets annoyed with Lalitadevi's interference in his married life and he sets out to find a suitable groom for her. He arranges her 'swayamvara', which leads to hilarious consequences.
