Saamida is a 2008 Tamil action drama film starring Sembi, Dhanushya and Hamsa Devi. A young girl from a village, whose parents are unable to raise her, ends up being a prostitute in Mumbai. She marries one of her regular clients. A terrible turn of events turns her into a gangster. She adopts an orphan boy who when he grows up falls in love with a beautiful girl not connected to the crime world. Will the mother and son give up their criminal ways?
