Anand has been a motorcycle champion for six years in a row. Winning the championship gets him introduced to Uma, the daughter of Thilakavathy; a haughty, rich woman. Uma initially rejects Anand s advances because of his complexion but later falls for his charm. But Thilakavathy deceives Anand and Uma into thinking that she s happy with their union while secretly she s planning to get Uma hitched to someone else. To make sure her plan is carried out successfully, Thilakavathy locks Anand up on her daughter s wedding day. Devastated at first, Anand later escapes but is unable to stop the wedding. Anand is left heartbroken and he goes on to marry someone else. The story takes an unthinkable twist when Anand s wife invites Uma to her house where a shocking truth is waiting to be unveiled.
