Pooja, the daughter of a multi-billionaire, loses her parents at a young age. Pooja's uncle takes care of her fortune and hands it over to her when she turns 21. Upon his insistence, Pooja joins a college in India where his son Prem happens to study. Her uncle wants her to fall in love with Prem so that they get married and the family gets to keep her fortune. Matters complicate when Pooja meets a boy named Rohit. Pooja and Rohit do not get along, but when Rohit ends up saving her life, Pooja begins to see him in a different light. While the youngsters begin to fall in love, Pooja's uncle hatches a plan to keep them apart.
