Mera Saaya is a 1966 drama starring Sunil Dutt and Sadhana. Rakesh's wife Geeta dies in his arms. As he is mourning her death, he receives news of the arrest of a bandit who looks exactly like his late wife. She claims that she is the real Geeta. Rakesh starts cross-examining her to ascertain her claims. But he is not convinced. She loses her mind and ends up in an asylum. She escapes to his house one night and tells him about his sister Raina who used to be a bandit just like their mother.
