Maa aur Mamta is a 1970 Hindi Drama starring Jeetendra, Mumtaz, Ashok Kumar and Nutan. Maya has been entrusted with the care of a child. They are taken care of by Cassim a taxi-driver. The child grows up to be Ram who goes to college with Victor, an adopted son of wealthy Mr. Williams. It is known that he had a son earlier who disappeared. When Maya realizes that Ram could be Williams’ son, she’s worried he will be snatched away. But Ram thwarts his own love so that he can remain Maya’s son.
