Lakshmi is a 2018 Tamil dance-based movie starring Prabhudeva, Ditya Bhande, Aishwarya Rajesh and others. The story revolves around Lakshmi (Ditya), who is passionate about dance and is always focused on it. Lakshmi showcases her dancing skills in her school, on the streets, at events, and almost everywhere. On the other hand, Lakshmi's mother Nithya (Aishwarya) hates dancing and she is not aware of her daughter's love for dance. In the meanwhile, Lakshmi takes the help of Krishna (Prabhudeva) to get enrolled in a dance school to pursue her dream. Will Lakshmi succeed? Will her mother get to know about Lakshmi's love for dance?
