Neeta, a daughter of Rai Bahadur, a rich industrialist, goes against his wish and gets married to a street smart Ajit. Unable to fulfill all of Ajit's monetary demands, Neeta commits suicide leaving behind her daughter Pinky to Rai Bahadur. Due to some tiff between Rai Bahadur and Pinky, Pinky leaves her house and meets Govinda a taxi driver. Just when things go right, Rai Bahadur holds Govinda responsible for Pinky's eloping and gets Govinda arrested. Will Govinda ever again meet Pinky or is it the end of the love story?
