When a talented teenager from a small-town, Som, gets chosen for a singing reality show in Mumbai, his mother who is a yesteryear singer starts living her dream through him. Som becomes the talk of the town and enjoys momentary stardom, but then he faces miserable defeat and slips into depression. The elders in the family are of little help for they cannot understand his mental condition. The film follows Som's journey from questioning his talent to rediscovering himself and living life beyond winning or losing in life.
