Jai (Shahid Kapoor) falls in love with Neha (Kareena Kapoor) who initially plays hard to get, but gradually begins to put her guard down. Once they profess their love to each other, Jai finds out that some goons from the underworld are threatening Neha to repay a huge sum of money that her father had borrowed from them. Jai goes to the extent of robbing a bank to pull Neha out of this problem, only to find out that she had been taking him for a ride all along. Now, Jai wants nothing more than revenge. Will he escape the impending jail-time?
